Stylish Halloween Decor…and How To Store It

Do you get stressed about Halloween decorations clashing with your home decor? After all the effort we put into curating our homes, the plastic ghouls and goblins can be kind of a buzzkill. That doesn’t mean you can’t be festive! Here is a roundup of some of our favorite high end halloween decor ideas, plus how to store it when the season is over.

Candles

We love this idea because candlesticks are having a moment in the design world. It’s a fabulous way to stay on trend and celebrate the season. Use clear wine bottles, antique brass candlestick holders, or even a black candelabra to add a ghostly touch to your decor. Anthropologie, World Market, and even Michaels have beautiful options at multiple price points that suit any home decor style.

Spooky Wreath

Hanging a wreath on the front door is not something you have to save for the holidays! It’s fun way to celebrate the different seasons without committing to changing a lot inside your home. We love this spooky black wreath from Crate and Barrel and have seen styles we love at Pottery Barn and William Sonoma too.

Glass Gourds

Pumpkin decor does not have to be florescent orange plastic anymore (thank goodness!). We love the idea of using glass gourds as decor on mantles and tabletops because they’re chic, and we can leave them up through Thanksgiving! They’re cute, efficient, and won’t go out of style. These are from West Elm, but we’ve seen options we love at Pottery Barn (that double as candle holders!) and Sur La Table.

Storage

It’s important when you bring new items into the home you have a plan for where to store them, once the holiday is over. Below are a few of our favorite storage items for your new (and family favorite) spooky decorations!
